The brightness and sparkle of this place is blinding, at first. A city cupped like a bowl in the hands of beings more powerful than you can truly comprehend, the underside shadowed but even then not truly dark, lit by a glittering moon hanging inverted in their sky like a reflection in the water of a still lake. It’s intentionally breathtaking. You, annoyed already by your not-quite-yet-friends, huff a sigh. What even is a god if not simply a powerful mage? And are you not a powerful mage yourself? After all, they asked for your help. At that, you smile.
