The light streams down into the glade in bright shafts of sunlight, warm in stark contrast to the cooler shadows. It is the first safe place you and your friends have laid eyes upon in days, after a series of bad encounters - owlbears, a particularly angry wasp’s nest, a fey creature that tried to drag you all into a bog - and you sigh with relief. You can lie here safely, perhaps even nap and eat, and regain your strength.
